(Custom-made and imported as a single-slab masterpiece from Wakayama Prefecture.
The price for a set of two was approximately 300,000 yen at the time (shipping not included).
The dimensions are 120 cm x 45 cm x 3.5 cm, specially designed for the 4350, and they fit the 4350 perfectly.
The weight is 50 kg per piece.

■Details
This early model 4350 was purchased directly from the United States before the Japanese distributor began handling it.
According to the previous owner, this was the second or third 4350 to arrive in Japan.
The serial numbers are "10017" and "10018".
At that time, mono was mainstream, so there is an anecdote that JBL America contacted them to confirm, saying, "It is strange to purchase two at the same time. Isn't it just one purchase?"
It was imported by sea, so it took approximately 8 months from ordering to the product's arrival.
The presence of a blank panel on the front, the fact that it is a 2405 with a horseshoe-shaped bracket, and the 2230A woofer with a rubber edge all indicate the rarity of this 4350.
(The cone and edge have not been replaced.)
The only modification is that the emblem pins have been replaced with new ones, and it remains almost entirely in its original condition.

A floor-standing speaker system developed as the pinnacle of monitor speakers.
The low end is equipped with two 38 cm cone-type 2230A woofers.
This unit features a cone made of paper treated with JBL's proprietary coating and a ribbon copper wire voice coil wound edge-to-edge.
The low-midrange is equipped with 30 cm cone-type 2202A woofers.
The 2202A achieves enhanced performance through extremely precise machining of the top plate, pole piece, voice coil, and gap. This unit also features a back cavity that prevents interference with the rear of the 2230A.
The mid-highrange features a horn-type midrange combining the 2440 driver, 2311 horn, and 2308 acoustic lens.
The 2440 features a 0.076 mm thick aluminum alloy diaphragm and an aluminum ribbon wire voice coil wound edge-to-edge, and its directivity is improved by JBL's proprietary exponential horn and acoustic lens.
The high end is equipped with 2405 ring tweeters.
The 2405 features a ring diaphragm made of 0.056 mm thick aluminum foil formed by air pressure, reproducing high frequencies up to 20 kHz with characteristics within ±3 dB.
The network section uses a multi-amp system divided at a crossover frequency of 250 Hz, and in addition to a power amplifier, a separately sold 5231 or 5232 divider and 52-5121 filter board are required.
Also, the mid-highrange uses a specially designed L-C type network.
The front features a continuously variable level control.
The enclosure is made of 20 mm thick material.
The exterior was available in two variations: gray finish and walnut finish. |

■Usage Environment
One mounting stud is broken. (This is the stud for mounting the Saranet grille.)
There is a small fray on the Saranet grille.
There is some paint peeling on the back due to aging.
However, as this is an old item, there are signs of aging, so please check the photos in advance.
