High brightness
Sony's proprietary optical system delivers high optical efficiency. The 165 W high-pressure mercury lamp produces a bright image with 2,000 lumens.

High image quality
Three 0.63-inch XGA high-aperture panels with approximately 790,000 pixels deliver a horizontal resolution of 1,024 dots and a vertical resolution of 768 dots with RGB signal input, and a horizontal resolution of 750 TV lines with video signal input.

Short-throw lens
Projects an 80-inch image from a distance of approximately 2.3 m, allowing large-screen projection even in limited spaces.

Easy-to-use controls and comprehensive basic performance
The control panel, with large, easy-to-press buttons, is located on top of the unit. Connect it to a computer or other device, then simply select the image with the INPUT button to project. It also offers robust basic performance, including XGA resolution, 2,000-lumen brightness, and keystone correction.

Six picture modes to suit the environment and content
Choose the appropriate mode—"Dynamic," "Standard," "Game," "Living," "Cinema," or "Presentation"—based on the room's brightness and the type of image being projected.

Highly expandable system in a compact body
Equipped with RS-232C and monitor output ports, as well as two analog RGB inputs. It can also be ceiling-mounted using the optional suspension support. Compact yet suitable for system installations.

Exhaust vent on the front of the unit
The exhaust vent is located at the front of the unit to release heat. This design takes into consideration presenters positioned at either side of the unit.

Front and rear infrared receivers reliably capture remote control signals
Infrared receivers for the remote control are located at the front and rear of the unit. You can operate it without getting up, even from behind the projector.

・Security lock
Can be set to require a password when powering on; without the password, no image will be projected.
・Panel key lock
Disables all operating buttons on the unit, restricting operation to the remote control only. Prevents tampering and accidental operation.
