This is the latest TV microscope system that enables magnified observation with clear image quality (resolution of over 1000 lines) as if you were looking through a microscope with the naked eye, using Keyence's proprietary digital image processing technology.
This model features a high-definition 2.11-megapixel CCD in the pen-type camera unit.
It achieves high-definition digital imaging without compromising the portability that is a feature of conventional microscopes, and can obtain approximately 6 times the image information compared to our previous microscopes. In addition, it features enhanced "viewing" functions, including a depth-compositing function that enables 3D observation at high magnification and a real-time digital zoom function that allows you to enlarge simply by clicking any point on the screen, using Keyence's proprietary digital image processing technology.
This model comes standard with a SCSI port. By connecting the optional VH-P40, digital prints at photo quality can be made in approximately 19 seconds.
Also, since this model has a built-in hard drive, observation images can be instantly filed in JPEG and TIFF formats, and image data can be transmitted and files managed using the included software by using the LAN port and USB port.
The enhanced compatibility with PCs has made the "recording" functions more diverse.
The "measuring" functions have also been further enhanced. In addition to "Area Measurement," which includes an assistant function that automatically extracts the outline of the object, 9 general image measurement functions are equipped as standard.
Also, since measurement results can be saved as image files and text files (CSV format), visual confirmation and quantitative evaluation through statistical processing can be performed.
In addition, there are various functions such as a title/comment function to add captions to the screen and a split-screen function for comparative observation, making it possible to do with this one unit what was not possible with conventional microscopes.
