In terms of hardware, in addition to improved environmental resistance, we have adopted a large LCD graphic display capable of displaying Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, and graphics. Furthermore, operability has been dramatically improved through the use of touch panel switches and a new card system (JEIDA standard).
The basic design of the FC-7 is an IBM-PC compatible computer. Naturally, the OS (basic software) is equipped with MS-DOS(R), dramatically improving basic performance.
