A waterproof and dustproof total station compliant with IS Water Resistance (Protection Rating 6). It firmly protects the important internal components of the unit from dust and dirt at work sites, as well as sudden heavy rain during operation.
Distance Measurement Capability 1: High Accuracy and Wide Range
Achieves class-leading distance measurement accuracy of ±(3 mm + 2 ppm) m.s.e. The measurement range is also generous at 700 m with one prism.

Equipped with a "Serial Signal Interface (RS-232C)" that can be directly connected to the FC5 data collector. It supports the collection of observation data and surveying using coordinate data from a computer with the FC5, fully supporting the systematization of surveying.
・Comprehensive Application Measurement Function 1: Opposite Side Measurement (MLM)
Prisms can be placed at two points that cannot be directly sighted, allowing the horizontal distance, slope distance, and height difference between the two points to be measured continuously without moving the instrument.

The vertical distance (height) of high-voltage power lines, bridges, and other locations far from the ground where prisms cannot be installed can be measured.

When observing the center of trees, utility poles, or walls where a prism cannot be directly installed, measurements can be taken by offsetting the sighting.
