The top-of-the-line model in the ESJ series, equipped with Dolby S.
The TC-K555ESJ features a large transformer in a shielded case, a copper-plated chassis, and cast-iron insulators.
It is equipped with Dolby S NR as a noise reduction system.
Dolby S NR is a noise reduction system newly developed for consumer use based on Dolby SR used in professional equipment, achieving a noise reduction effect of 24dB in high frequencies and 10dB in low frequencies.
The ESJ series uses a module developed by Dolby Laboratories and turned into a chip by Sony, which is further integrated with peripheral components using high-density mounting technology. This achieves both higher sound quality and lower costs.
