The Schmidt test hammer can be applied directly to any point on a completed structure to obtain a measurement.
It can be used to examine changes in concrete over time without damaging it, making it ideal for quality control.
Concrete strength is estimated based on the rebound strength (elastic rebound). By reading this rebound strength from a pre-prepared graph, concrete compressive strength can be determined within a standard deviation range of 28 kg/cm2.
The Schmidt test hammer accurately measures surface hardness.
Its simple design requires no special operating skills and enables quick measurements.

The Schmidt test hammer NR type is a state-of-the-art nondestructive concrete strength tester equipped with a mechanism that automatically records the rebound value (R).
Because rebound values are recorded automatically, the time and effort required to read and write down measurements are eliminated, as are misreadings and recording errors that can occur when reading values by eye.
The recording paper with the automatically recorded measurements can also be used later as proof of the test results.
