●Fully automatic connection in 13 seconds with simple operation

The S121A is an ultra-compact fiber optic fusion splicer packed with high-performance features in a palm-sized body.
It is easy to carry and allows for efficient work at any connection site.
Operation is simple: just attach the fiber and press the set button.
It can complete a fully automatic connection in 13 seconds, and the connection process can be monitored on the LCD monitor.
It supports two power sources: battery and AC, and is also compatible with reinforced heat sleeves.

For various construction environments expected in terminal connection, conventional box-type fusion splicers were not ideal in terms of size and workability.
By adopting a unique T-shaped design, the S121 series can be operated with one hand while held, and the head can be inserted into a closure, enabling connection even with short-length fiber optic cables. The main unit features a built-in 2.5-inch color LCD monitor, allowing you to visually confirm the fiber optic during connection.

It is approximately 1/3 the size and weight of conventional compact fusion splicers
(compared to our S199). The main unit weighs 980 g, and even with the detachable battery,
it is lightweight at 1,150 g.
Although it only observes fiber in one direction and omits the estimated post-connection loss function based on high-precision image processing, it incorporates all the necessary functions for its small body without excess.
The drive mechanism was simplified and the number of parts reduced, while the control board adopted components that combine memory and calculation functions, reducing the occupied area to approximately 1/3 of conventional designs and enabling the miniaturization of the entire device. The dedicated detachable battery is also a newly designed product.
