The PAS series is a high-functionality variable switching DC power supply, refined and further evolved from our conventional PAK-A series.
While maintaining the same chassis size as the previous model, it incorporates a high-efficiency switching circuit and a power factor correction circuit to meet modern demands.
Furthermore, it features our proprietary digital communication function (TP-BUS: Twist Pair BUS). By combining it with the power supply controller PIA4800, it can support power supply systems ranging from small-scale (2 units) to large-scale (up to 448 units when using GPIB) at a low cost. The distance between the controller and the power supply can be extended up to 200m, making it possible, for example, to control factory power supply equipment from a PC in an office using the power supply controller PIA4800 series.
