The Schmidt test hammer can be applied directly to any point on a wide range of completed structures to obtain a measurement.
It is ideal for quality control, allowing concrete deterioration over time to be assessed without damaging the concrete.
Concrete strength is estimated from the rebound strength (elastic rebound). By comparing this rebound strength with a prepared graph, the concrete compressive strength can be determined within a deviation range of a standard deviation of 28 kg/cm2.
The Schmidt test hammer provides reliable measurements of surface hardness.
Its simple design requires no special operating skills and allows for rapid measurements.

The Schmidt test hammer NR model is a state-of-the-art nondestructive concrete strength tester equipped with a device that automatically records the rebound value (R).
Automatic recording of rebound values saves the effort and time required to read and write down measurements, and prevents misreading or recording errors that can occur when readings are taken by eye.
The automatically recorded measurement paper can also be used later as a certificate of test results.
