A new slim 4.4 mm outer-diameter model has been added to the lineup. Combined with its shortened rigid tip and small bending radius, it offers greatly improved insertion performance. The insertion tube features Olympus's proprietary TTF articulation section, which is soft at the tip and becomes stiffer toward the operator. By combining the ability to navigate bends at the tip with effective pushability from the operator's end, it delivers outstanding performance for inspecting small gas turbine engines, water supply pipes with elbows, and similar applications.

Slim scopes with outer diameters from 4.4 mm to 6.0 mm are equipped with a four-way, 120°* angulation mechanism. In addition to the “high image quality” and “bright images” characteristic of videoscopes, they also feature advanced functions frequently used in inspections, including “digital still image recording,” “electronic zoom,” and “long exposure.”
