The MT9081A/A1k–G/G1 models in the MT9080 Series provide, in one unit, the optical measurement and IP measurement functions required for installing and maintaining optical access networks.
Seven functions—OTDR, light source for fiber identification, power meter, visible light source (optional), and IP test function (optional)—are housed in a compact 2.2 kg body.
The OTDR function features a short dead zone of 1 m or less (Fresnel reflection), making it easy to locate nearby fault points. In addition, its high dynamic range of 38.5 dB enables detection of the far end of optical fibers over 150 km long, making it suitable for applications such as checking metro networks as well as optical access networks.
Two display options are available: color LCD and monochrome LCD. Choose according to the usage environment, such as indoors or outdoors.
