The LCV2 is a digital level checker equipped with a 3.5-inch color LCD monitor that allows you to check the video and audio of digital broadcast waves at the measurement site.
It also includes advanced measurement features such as delay profile measurement for checking delay waves and spectrum measurement for confirming the impact of interference waves via waveforms.
By displaying not only numerical measurement values but also video and waveforms of the reception status, it enables reliable antenna adjustment in multipath environments.
For terrestrial digital broadcast signals, signal quality may deteriorate due to the influence of delay waves or interference waves, making reception impossible even if the signal level is appropriate. Therefore, measuring signal quality (BER/MER) in addition to signal level is crucial.
Furthermore, adjusting antennas in poor multipath environments requires not only signal level and quality measurements, but also confirmation of received images and analysis of the factors causing signal degradation.
The newly developed LCV2 inherits the popular reception confirmation mark function from our LCN3 series—which displays a mark after evaluating signal level and BER/MER values—while also adding the ability to check video and audio, perform delay profile measurements, and conduct spectrum measurements at the site.
By "visualizing" invisible radio wave reception conditions, we have enabled high-precision antenna adjustment.
Additionally, the button layout follows the LCN3 series, offering excellent operability despite being a model equipped with high-level measurement functions.
