The LCV2 is a digital level checker equipped with a 3.5-inch color LCD monitor that allows you to check the video and audio of digital broadcast waves※2 at the measurement site.
It also features advanced measurement functions, including delay profile measurement to check delay waves and spectrum measurement to check the effects of interference waves in waveform.
In addition to displaying measured values, it can display the reception status with video and waveforms, enabling reliable antenna adjustment in multipath※3 environments.
Even if the signal level of terrestrial digital broadcasting reaches an appropriate value, the signal quality may deteriorate and become unreceivable due to the effects of delay waves or interference waves. Therefore, it is important to measure not only the signal level but also BER※1 and MER※2, which indicate signal quality.
Furthermore, antenna adjustment in poor multipath environments requires checking the received image and analyzing the factors of signal quality deterioration in addition to measuring the signal level and signal quality.
The newly developed LCV2 is equipped with the reception confirmation mark function, which judges the signal level and BER/MER measured values and displays a reception confirmation mark—a feature highly praised by many users in our digital level checker LCN3 series—as well as functions that allow you to check video and audio at the measurement site, a delay profile measurement function to check delay waves, and a spectrum measurement function to check the effects of interference waves in waveform.
By "visualizing" the invisible radio wave reception status, it enables highly accurate antenna adjustment.
The button layout also inherits the layout of the LCN3 series, providing excellent operability despite being a model equipped with advanced measurement functions.
