The HJS-03 is a tool for stripping the coating from multi-fiber optical fibers, from 2-fiber to 12-fiber ribbon fibers. Heating and softening the coating makes it easy to remove.
It can be powered by a Fujikura fusion splicer, as well as by AAA NiMH batteries or alkaline batteries.
