The HJS-02 is a tool for stripping the coating from multi-fiber optical fiber ribbons, from 2-fiber to 12-fiber ribbons.
By heating and softening the coating, it can be easily removed.
Power for operating the unit is supplied by a Fujikura multi-fiber fusion splicer.
