◆Two years after the HDS-GEN2 TOUCH was introduced, a new-generation model has arrived. The major differences are:
・Built-in Wi-Fi enables internet connectivity
・Built-in CHIRP circuitry for conventional fish finding
・Added keypad for improved usability
・Video input
Although the basic specifications remain unchanged, this model has been further refined.
◆Enhanced controls
Featuring push-button switches and a touch panel, this is the most advanced control system. Menus that are difficult to select accurately by touch can be operated easily, reliably, and quickly.
You can also zoom in and out using two fingers.
◆CHIRP sonar included
The CHIRP sonar circuitry (210–28 kHz), previously supplied via an external SONAR HUB for the LOWRANCE HDS GEN2 Touch series, is now built into the HDS Gen3 Touch.
◆Processing power
Equipped with a faster CPU and more memory.
◆Enhanced GPS
The built-in GPS update rate has also improved from 5 to 10 times per second.
