◆Two years after the HDS-GEN2 TOUCH was introduced, a new-generation model is now available. The main differences are:
・Built-in Wi-Fi allows connection to the Internet
・Built-in CHIRP circuitry for conventional fish finding
・Added keypad for improved usability
・Video input
These improvements refine the model, although its basic specifications remain unchanged.
◆Enhanced controls
The most advanced control system, featuring push-button switches and a touchscreen. Menus that are difficult to select accurately by touch can be operated easily, reliably, and quickly.
You can also zoom in and out using two fingers.
◆CHIRP sonar included
The CHIRP sonar circuitry (210–28 kHz), previously available on the LOWRANCE HDS GEN2 Touch series via an external SONAR HUB, is now built into the HDS Gen3 Touch.

Equipped with a faster CPU and more memory.
◆Enhanced GPS
The built-in GPS has also been upgraded from 5 updates per second to 10.
