[Remote Control Type 2 RC-2]
When used with the Remote Control System Type 2 RC-2, the instrument can communicate optically with the remote controller on the prism side. This enables simple one-person surveying using application programs such as Basic Surveying. The remote controller can also communicate directly with the data collector and the instrument.
The Remote Control System's auto-turn function lets you easily turn the GTS-800A Series toward the remote controller.
This function improves work efficiency during one-person surveying.

■The GTS-800A Series models are nearly identical.

The only differences are
the telescope focusing knob, angle display units and accuracy, and tribrach level sensitivity.
