[Remote Control Type 2 RC-2]
When used with the Remote Control System Type 2 RC-2, this instrument can communicate optically with the remote controller on the prism side. Simple one-person surveying is possible using application programs such as Surveying Basics. Data can also be communicated directly between the data collector and this instrument via the remote controller.
The Remote Control System's turn-to-target function makes it easy to point the GTS-800A Series toward the remote controller.
This function improves work efficiency during one-person surveying.

■The GTS-800A Series models are nearly identical.

telescope focusing knob, horizontal angle display units and accuracy, and tribrach level sensitivity.
