The FSM-50R is a fusion splicer capable of splicing single optical fibers and multi-fiber ribbons of up to 8 fibers.
We have thoroughly pursued what "ease of use" means for a fusion splicer.
In addition to reducing fusion splicing and heat-shrinking times, it contributes significantly to shortening overall splicing work by making fiber setting "easy" and eliminating the need for arc discharge tests.
To accommodate various work environments, it is possible to switch between the front and top monitors on-site, and when using a high-capacity battery, up to 140 splices are possible per charge.
In addition to the 8-fiber model, we also offer models capable of splicing up to 12 fibers.
