The FSM-50R is a fusion splicer capable of splicing single-core fiber and multi-core fiber with up to 8 cores.
We have thoroughly pursued what "ease of use" means for a fusion splicer.
Not only does it shorten fusion and reinforcement heating times, it also makes fiber setup "easy" and eliminates the need for discharge testing, greatly reducing the time required for the entire splicing process.
To accommodate various splicing environments, the front monitor and top monitor can be switched on-site, and when using a high-capacity battery, up to 140 splices are possible per charge.
In addition to the model capable of splicing up to 8 cores, we also offer a model capable of splicing up to 12 cores.
