The CentreCOM FS708TPL is a Fast Ethernet tap switch equipped with eight 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX auto-sensing ports. Its compact, lightweight plastic body makes it ideal for SOHO and desktop environments. The included magnets also allow it to be mounted on steel surfaces such as the side of a desk or a partition.

●Cascade connections with straight-through cables supported
All ports feature automatic MDI/MDI-X switching, making connections easy regardless of port type (MDI/MDI-X) or cable type (straight-through/crossover). Cascade connections are supported on all ports.

●Ideal for SOHO and desktop environments
The plastic body keeps the unit lightweight. Using the included magnets, it can also be mounted on steel surfaces such as the side of a desk or a rack.

●Auto-negotiation
All ports automatically detect 10 Mbps/100 Mbps and Full Duplex/Half Duplex. This makes the switch easy to install even in environments with a mix of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps devices.

●Flow control (IEEE 802.3x PAUSE/backpressure)
When excessive traffic occurs during communication, this function helps prevent packet loss and maintain normal communication.
