The FID-25R is the successor to the compact fiber core identifier FID-20R/21R, which has gained popularity as a standard device for telecommunications construction. In addition to the conventional R30 SM fiber, it is applicable to R15 SM fiber, achieving a significant improvement in core identification and live-wire detection performance. It is a product that balances enhanced characteristics, functions, and ease of use to meet a wide range of customer needs through various improvements.

The FID-25R is one of the indispensable tools for building and maintaining optical fiber networks that support safe and high-quality FTTH broadband services.

● 8 to 15 dB Sensitivity Improvement
The newly designed bend section achieves high sensitivity with low insertion loss. It can measure even optical fibers that are difficult to leak light.
● Optical Separation Performance Improved by Approximately 15 dB
The new digital filter can detect even weak contrast light. It can extract contrast light even when strong background light is present.
● Equipped with a Power Meter up to +10 dBm
Stronger optical power can be measured. It can measure a diversifying range of optical system equipment.
● 15 Selectable Measurement Modes, Including Live-Wire Detection ON/OFF
It is equipped with various measurement modes, including simultaneous core identification and live-wire detection & display modes, and core identification-only modes.
● No Need to Replace the Bend Section
The new structure bend section can identify fiber cores without replacement from 025 core 3 mm cords to 12-core tape fiber cores.
● Measurable with a Short Lead Length
It can measure with a lead length 10 mm shorter than conventional models. Its usability is improved in places where sufficient lead length cannot be secured, such as cable branches and inside enclosures.
