In terms of hardware, in addition to improved environmental resistance, it features a large LCD graphic display that can display Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana, as well as figures. Furthermore, the touch panel switch and new card system (JEIDA standard) have significantly improved operability.
The FC-7 is basically an IBM-PC compatible computer. Of course, it is equipped with MS-DOS (R) as the operating system (basic software), which has dramatically improved its basic performance.
