In terms of hardware, in addition to improved environmental resistance, it features a large LCD graphic display capable of displaying Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana, as well as graphics. Furthermore, the touch panel switch and new card system (JEIDA standard) significantly improve operability.
The FC-7 is basically an IBM-PC compatible computer. Of course, it is equipped with MS-DOS (R) as the operating system (basic software), which dramatically improves its basic performance.
