The ELCT series discharge electrode rods are electrodes used to fuse fiber optic cables with a Fujikura fusion splicer, providing a stable arc discharge for connection. Two rods are used in one fusion splicer.
A stable arc discharge is required to fuse fiber optic cables with low loss, so please replace them according to the operating instructions when replacement is necessary. Please select the appropriate rod for your fusion splicer from the ELCT series chart. We also recommend keeping one set as a spare.
