The ELCT series discharge electrode rods are electrode rods for fusing and splicing optical fibers with Fujikura fusion splicers, providing a stable arc discharge for connection. Two rods are used in one fusion splicer.
A stable arc discharge is required to fuse and splice optical fibers with low loss, so please replace them according to the operating instructions when replacement is necessary. Please select the appropriate one from the ELCT series table according to the fusion splicer you use. We also recommend keeping one set as a spare.
