A waterproof and dustproof total station compliant with IS Water Resistance (Protection Rating 6). It firmly protects the valuable internal components of the unit from dust and dirt at work sites, as well as sudden heavy rain during operation.

Automatic Compensation Mechanism
In addition to conventional automatic vertical compensation, it features a built-in dual-axis automatic compensation mechanism that simultaneously compensates for horizontal angles. This mechanism automatically compensates for leveling errors caused by insufficient machine leveling or large tilt angles during angle measurements, enabling high-precision angular measurements in all environments.
Ranging Capability 1: High Precision and Wide Range
Achieves class-leading ranging accuracy of ±(3mm + 2ppm) m.s.e. The ranging range is also generous: 550m with a pinhole prism and 1,100m with one prism.

Equipped with a "Serial Signal Interface (RS-232C)" that can connect directly to the FC5 data collector.
It supports data collection and surveying using the FC5, as well as setting out with coordinate data from a computer, fully supporting the systematization of surveying.
・Comprehensive Application Measurement Function 1: Opposite Side Measurement (MLM)
Prisms can be placed at two points that cannot be directly sighted, allowing continuous measurement of the horizontal distance, slope distance, and height difference between the two points without moving the machine.
・Comprehensive Application Measurement Function 2: Real-Time REM Measurement (Remote Elevation Measurement)
It can measure the vertical distance (height) of high-voltage transmission lines, bridges, and other locations that are far from the ground and where prisms cannot be installed.
・Comprehensive Application Measurement Function 3: Sighting Offset Measurement
When observing the center of trees, utility poles, or walls where a prism cannot be directly installed, measurements can be taken by offsetting the sighting.
・Setting Out 1: Standard Setting Out
By entering the coordinates of the installation point during stake-driving work, it indicates the coordinate position with the horizontal angle and horizontal distance from the known point.
・Setting Out 2: Setting Out When the Traverse Point Cannot Be Sighted
A new point that can sight the setting out point can be installed on the spot.
・Setting Out 3: Can Input 600 Installation Point Coordinates
The installation point coordinate data can be entered into the unit's internal memory for up to 600 points, making setting out work highly efficient if entered in advance.
