| True steam—that is Parrucchi's Morbido Steam
By applying a high temperature of 145 degrees and a pressure of 3.5 atmospheres, it becomes steam that has been vaporized rather than remaining liquid. For example, when you boil water in a kettle, the water boils at 100 degrees and vaporizes.
However, when released into the air, it immediately begins to liquefy.
"Steam" is this liquefied steam. Morbido Steam can maintain its gaseous state for a certain period even after being released.
The water molecules in this vaporized steam are extremely small, about 1/100,000th the size of the water molecules in regular steam.
Promoting penetration with Morbido Steam
The water molecules that make up Morbido Steam are extremely small, separate molecules of about 0.26 nanometers.
This fine particle steam penetrates inside the hair, and water permeates into the gaps between the microfibril fibers in the cortex.
The permeated water molecules fill the hair, allowing it to expand naturally and effortlessly. This is water swelling.
In this way, by causing water swelling and opening the hair cuticles, it supports the penetration of chemicals without damaging the hair.
The latent heat effect of Morbido Steam
The fine particles of Morbido Steam that have entered the hair have latent heat in themselves.
Due to this latent heat, the chemicals are activated and the chemical reaction is promoted, leading to shorter treatment times.
The moisture retention effect of Morbido Steam
The ultra-fine Morbido Steam penetrates thoroughly even into damaged hair, distributing moisture throughout. This becomes bound water and stays inside the hair.
By thoroughly replenishing moisture before allowing the chemicals to penetrate, it protects damaged areas while keeping undamaged areas beautiful without causing unnecessary damage. |
