Shipping policy

Free shipping to the United States

Shipping is free on every item to addresses in the United States. All shipments are tracked and fully insured. Your tracking number will be emailed to you when your order ships.

When we ship

• Standard items: shipped from Kyoto, Japan within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.
• Large machines: about 1–4 weeks, because they need crating and freight arrangements. We will contact you about the schedule.
• Our business days exclude Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese public holidays.

Delivery time

Items are shipped by sea and usually arrive within about 10–20 business days after shipping. Customs clearance may add extra days.

Import duties and taxes

Our prices do not include US import duties, taxes or customs brokerage fees. These charges, if any, are the buyer’s responsibility and are collected by the carrier or customs at the time of import. Duties may apply regardless of the order value. If a shipment is refused or returned because these charges were not paid, we will refund the item price minus any return shipping costs.

Shipping address

Please make sure your shipping address and phone number are correct. The carrier may contact you by phone about delivery or customs.
